The battery compartment of the Exergen TemporalScanner TAT-2000 Digital Temporal Infrared Probe Hand-Held Thermometer is conveniently situated at the back. Simply press on the top of the cover, slide it downwards to open, insert the 9V battery correctly, and replace the cover securely to ensure optimal performance of your temporal thermometer.
