The factory setting of the TemporalScanner TAT-2000C Digital Temporal Thermometer is Fahrenheit (F). If it is in C (Celcius) and you need to switch to F, press and hold the button until the small C in the upper right of the display changes to F. A beep will indicate the change, and the thermometer will automatically shut off.
