Can I use the pedometer watch just to check my heart rate while exercising?

The Digital Heart Rate and Pedometer Watch, New Version, does not automatically measure your heart rate. To activate heart mode, place two fingers on the metal plates at the top and bottom of your wrist watch. For accurate results, it's recommended to wear the watch for at least 5 minutes before measuring.
