What pros/cons do desk vs full armrests have on the Viper wheelchair?

My mom no longer walks. Has advance Alzheimer’s. Needs assistance for everything. Is no more than 120 lbs. I need clarification about armrests, and recline ability of chair… last, in my measurements of her, should I add extra inches to her measurement to accommodate room for pads? Thank you! Carole
