To check wheelchair fit, ensure the seat width allows about an inch of space on each side of the user's hips for comfort and mobility. The seat depth should allow two to three fingers' space between the back of the knees and the edge of the seat. Additionally, the footrests should support the feet comfortably without causing pressure on the thighs, and the backrest should provide adequate support without restricting movement.
