Antifungal creams are specifically formulated to target fungal infections and are not inherently antibacterial. They work by disrupting the cell membrane or other vital processes of fungi, but they do not have the same effect on bacteria. For bacterial infections, an antibacterial or antibiotic treatment would be more appropriate.
