To shower with a non-weight bearing leg cast, cover the cast with a waterproof cast cover or a plastic bag sealed tightly with tape or rubber bands to keep it dry. Use a shower chair or bench to sit safely, and keep your leg elevated outside the water stream to prevent it from getting wet or bearing weight.
